I was originally looking for my next best friend. Thoroughbreds have always been my go to horses, owned them for 25years. They are so kind and gentle and deserve the best!

i went to look at a 4 year old mare (still a baby) and in my absolute disgust she was skin and bone. Completely emaciated, her feet were in poor condition, covered in rain scald, eating bits of hay off a muck heap . How could i not buy her! She needs a lot of love and attention and a good load of food in her belly. So i got her on my box and away she came to live with me and my herd.

Few days later, a friend and i went to look at a horse that had recently come from ireland. In our absolute horror, was stood another mare in an emaciated state! Worse than the first. Used as a breeding machine and left. So on my box she went. No way can i just walk away from this, a mean how could anyone with a heart.

i will do everything in my power to help as many lost souls as i can.

I dont normally ask for help but i am hoping there is alot of kind hearted people out there like myself that want to see these beautiful creatures happy and thriving.

The money raised will all go on these beautiful horses well being, farrier, vet fees, dentist, feed etc.

Any extra money will go on helping more horses like these two beautiful mares.
