Wednesday's Emergency Medical Care

Our favorite little dog in the whole world has very suddenly fallen extremely ill and is currently on a ventilator. Upon leaving a car ride the evening of April 30th, and displaying no symptoms of illness, she suddenly lost the ability to stand and fell over. Veterinary staff have said there's swelling in her spine that is apparently severe. She has no mobility in her limbs which is making it hard for her to breathe, and the ventilator she's on is costing upwards of $7000 per DAY. Vets are suggesting leaving her on vent for another few days to see if steroid injections will prove helpful as treatment.
