Hello everyone. I really don't want to do this, but I have reached out so many times to different agencies and non-profits. It has not been easy for me and my family since COVID-19. I wasn't able to get my business back going and lost my vehicle to a blown engine while picking my kids up from their mother. My light bill has been coming in crazy high due to a faulty HVAC unit that my landlord refused to fix for years. We don't have anywhere to go, and now my lights are out, and the bill is so high no one will help. I've been trying to catch it up with the work I do get, but it kept adding on everything I paid. But as long as I paid, they wouldn't cut it off. This past cold season, work has been so slow to almost a complete stop. I do jobs for my landlord to keep a roof, but I'm behind with her as well. I have 5 kids living with me right now with no AC, electric, or water at the moment. I spend my last to make sure we can eat. I'm really asking for help to get back on my feet and catch everything up to a point I can get back to paying a regular monthly bill and not double or triple. During the cold season, my light bill comes in at $800 a month because the unit is overworking. Business is trying to pick back up, but it will be months before I can get what is needed to get our lights and water back on. This hurts me, having my kids going through this. Please have a heart and help us out. Please. The funds will go as such. $7200 will go to dominion energy. $800 will go to water and drainage bills. And the last $2000 will go to back rent... thank you for your help in advance.
