I'm Blaze, and my dog's name is Kevin, or Kev, or Dandelion Boi. He is beloved by many.

I'm here because Kevin was recently found to have a cancerous tumor and multiple cancerous lymph nodes. The professionally recommended best option for him is to surgically remove the cancerous sites and reassess after he's been monitored. I've accepted two separate medical credit cards to front the costs to make it happen ASAP. It's money I don't have, and for the sake of my family can't afford to bare alone. I've learned, however, that the phrase "it takes a village" is true, so this is me asking the help of the village.

The amount I've set here is the estimate for his two surgeries to remove the cancerous sites. There will be more costs but I have no way of knowing how much. Any excess funds will go toward those expenses.

I'm fighting for Kevin like he's always fought for me. He's always been by my side, especially when I'm sick or bedridden. I took him in to foster when he was 10 months old and I tended to some intense skin conditions of his which needed ointment applied multiple times a day every day. So our relationship started with me helping him, but he's helped me so much since.

I do all I can to give him the life he deserves, and at 9 years old, I can't accept he's experienced it all. He's had no health issues before this. Quality of life has always been important to me, and I believe surgery is the best option for him. I'll pursue whatever is best after that.
