Kappa Softball benefiting RIF

This Fall, Kappa Kappa Gamma at Fresno State is holding their 26th Annual Kappa Softball philanthropy to raise money for Reading is Fundamental, The Kappa Foundation, and Stone Soup Preschool.

Reading is Fundamental (RIF) is an organzation that promotes childhood literacy. It would be difficult to imagine childhood without having a favorit book or bed time story. Unfortunately some children do grow up without books in their lives. RIF stands to bring the stories that build imaginations and improve education into the lives of less fortunate chidren.

The Kappa Foundation is a group that helps members and alumni of KKG. The organization has scholarships for students and provides emergency aid to Kappas in need.

Stone Soup is a Fresno preschool just down the road from Fresno State. Members of our chapter often volunteer there and read stories to incorporate the spirit of RIF into their service. Each year we donate to the preschool to see positive measures in our own community.
