On March 1st 2019 the beloved husband, Matt Lester passed away unexpectedly. Matt leaves behind a wife with their twin 6 year old girls Mia and Abbie.
Matt was an amazing individual. He was in a car accident as a teenager that left him wheelchair bound as a quad with only gross motor skills in his upper extremities. The accident didn't define Matt. He went on to finish undergrad and then continued until he obtained his law degree.
Matt and Natalie met while Natalie was working as a recreational therapist for adaptive sports. They fell in love and formed a beautiful life together. Their life came with challenges but both Natalie and Matt looked at the WINE glass as half full and not half empty.
In 2012 they became parents to twin baby girls named Mia and Abbie. In 2013, when Mia and Abbie were 7 wks old, Matt was in yet another devastating car accident that left him in the ICU for weeks. After a long recovery, Matt's ability to travel for work became impossible. Once again they overcame these odds. Natalie stopped working to take care of the twin girls and performed all of Matt's extensive medical care. Natalie's support allowed Matt the ability to work from home, maintaining the status of primary financial supporter for the family.
Due to the unexpected passing of Matt, we are raising 6 months worth of financial support for Natalie, Mia, and Abbie Lester. Our goal is to raise enough funds quickly, for Natalie Lester and the girls to get back on their feet from this devastating loss.
Matt's parents have also started a GoFundMe page specifically for Abbie and Mia's future educational needs. We would be thrilled for any support on either fundraiser.
