35 mile Pendleside hospice challenge 6th September 2025

Earlier this year, my Dad was cared for by Pendleside Hospice, and the support they gave him — and us as a family — was nothing short of incredible. The compassion, dignity, and warmth they showed throughout such a difficult time is something I’ll never forget. They were there for us when we needed it most, and I feel a deep need to try and give something back.

That’s why me and my brother-in-law Kurt are taking on a new challenge: a 35-mile ultra marathon around Burnley and Pendle. It’s going to be tough, but every step will be in honour of the care my Dad received, and in support of a hospice that does so much for so many.
