Honoring David

On September 30, 2010 tragedy struck our family. My brother was murdered on Falcon Lake in Mexico while jet skiing with his wife. That day we lost a man so important to so many. He had such a special way about him, that immediately drew you to his caring, fun loving personality, and those that had the privilege to know him, know how quickly he could touch your life. Now as we approach the 10 year anniversary of his death it was strong in our hearts to do something not just to remember his life but honor who he was and keep his loving and giving spirit alive. He was passionate about helping others and guided by God’s love, gave back in so many ways. Him and his wife Tiffany went on 2 missions trips and David also found a boy in need in Mexico that he helped out. To carry on his giving spirit we have decided we would like to try and fund raise to sponsor a child through Compassion International. This ministry based organization provides children spiritual, economic, social and physical support through sponsorship. We would like to sponsor an unsponsored child at $38 month and would love to reach a goal of at least a years sponsorship. This monthly donation provides basic medical care, educational support and Christ-centered guidance. We plan to select a child from Kenya where David did one of his mission trips, that was born on September 30, 2010 and if we raise enough will select another child from Mexico. We will honor the day he left this earth by gifting new life and opportunity to a waiting child. There is communication via letter writing with the children and we look forward to sharing these special times with all of you! We will create a FaceBook page to share all of this with you and encourage those who want to participate in communicating encouragement to this child to do so!!
