Remembering Chris Sears: Supporting his young family
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Supporters,
On April 15, 2024, P. Christopher Sears, dedicated husband to Caroline Arpin and loving father to their children Mathieu 12, Samuel 9, and Magalie 6, tragically passed away from a sudden and devastating infection. Predeceased by his mother, Anne Osourne, he also leaves behind his adult sons Peter, Mackenzie and Cameron from his first marriage as well as his father, William Peter Sears and sister Susannah Sears.
His unexpected death has left his family in profound grief, his children and wife in mourning at the loss of their main pillar of support in their daily lives.
Chris’ warmth, generosity, and unwavering love have left an indelible mark. He valued quality time with his family, whether playing Scrabble with Caroline, discussing hockey with his older boys, hours of Monopoly with Mathieu and Sam or doting affection on Magalie. Chris also always made room at the table for family and friends, with an open invitation, saying “we have dinner every night”.
In the wake of this tragic loss, we are rallying together to support Caroline and their three young children in this time of need. As they navigate through this difficult period of grief and adjustment, we want to ensure that Mathieu, Samuel, and Magalie can maintain a sense of normalcy in their lives. This includes providing them with the opportunity to continue participating in activities that bring them joy and fulfillment, such as attending summer camps, enrolling in after-school programs, and staying in their current schools, helping them maintain a sense of stability at this uncertain time.
We believe that by coming together as a community, we can help ease the burden on Caroline and the children. Your generous contributions will make a meaningful difference in their lives, allowing them to honor their father's memory while finding moments of joy and happiness amidst their grief.
Please consider donating whatever amount you can to support the family during this difficult time. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference in the lives of Mathieu, Samuel, and Magalie as they navigate through this challenging journey of loss and healing.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and unwavering support.
