Help Support John on his recovery
On September 2nd, 2025, My Husband John was admitted to the hospital with serious health complications, and since then, he’s been fighting every single day to get better, but unfortunately after 3 different hospitalization in two months, the prognosis is still unknown. What we hoped would be a short stay has turned into months of unresolved treatments, setbacks and financial strain .Watching someone you love go through so much is heartbreaking, but through it all, he’s shown incredible strength.
Before all of this, John poured his heart and soul into his own business. He’s always been the kind of man who works hard, helps others, and never asks for anything in return. But being in the hospital for so long has meant he hasn’t been able to work — and as anyone who’s self-employed knows, when you can’t work, there’s no safety net. John’s savings have gone toward medical bills and daily living expenses. As his wife, I have done my best to keep things together while living on disability income myself , but the truth is, it’s been a struggle.
I’m reaching out to friends, family and anyone who would like to pay it forward in kindness to a man who truly deserves a helping hand. Your support would help to cover his ongoing treatments, and basic household costs while he continues his recovery from his extended stay in New Liskeard Hospital. I believe in the power of community and would like to try to ease John’s financial burden and give him the peace of mind to focus on healing.
If you can’t give financially, please keep him in your prayers and share this page with others who might be able to help. Your kindness and support mean more than words can express during this difficult time.
