Hello Otter Friends and Family
Otter’s Saloon has been closed since March 17th due to Covid-19, the hope of keeping everyone safe and healthy is hopefully working. We have taken this opportunity to clean and sanitize the bar so when we can open again it is with confidence that we can maintain a clean and safe environment for us to come together and see each other again. We have taken pride in being a small local bar, where we hope you feel everyone knows your name.
Since being closed we have not been able to do food delivery, we have no kitchen, and we turned down the PPP loan, the two months of assistance for utilities and rent did not compare to the unemployment help our staff was receiving and we didn’t want to take that away from them.
With June 1st approaching, the Governor will be allowing places with outdoor seating to open, Otter’s Saloon doesn’t have that either. At this time we are asking for any assistance to Save the Otter Saloon. Any help will be greatly appreciated and used to help pay the utilities, rent, mortgage, licensing, and insurance fees as well as bring back our employees when we can open and help with payroll.
We hope you are all safe and healthy and we look forward to getting through this with all of you and seeing you all again. Until then, be safe, be healthy, and be brave.
Thank you!
