My name is Ricardo. My partner, Stefan Neely, has today suffered a house fire. The flames ate through everything, leaving very little left.

This was a brand new home for a new chapter in my beloved's life. Thankfully he and his uncle are uninjured, as well as two of their three cats. The littlest did not make it.

Words cannot describe the grief and turmoil, heavy in our hearts. This was after finally moving away from a cramped apartment to have a larger space for himself his uncle and the cats. A risky move to put down roots and start a better life. And now this.

Donations will be used for food, clothing, medication, bedding, pet needs, and rent. As of June 7th, he is back in his old apartment, with rent at $900 a month. Donations help to provide flexibility while he works towards getting stable again.
