Earlier this year, Melissa received the heartbreaking diagnosis of breast cancer. After a recent surgery of a lumpectomy and removal of six lymph nodes, she now faces several years of ongoing treatment, including radiation.

Missy has already had to face so much on her own; her husband passed away from cancer when their children were small. Despite everything, she continues to show incredible strength and love for her kids. As a single mom to Jerry, Jalen, and Rowan, Melissa has always put her family first.
