Help an NCAT Student Avoid Eviction
Donation protected
Hello all! I was a bit hesitant about coming here, but was encouraged by fellow AGGIE students to do so.
I am a current undergrad student at NCAT and recently experienced sudden deaths in my family along with other unexpected family events that required me to leave my job and return home.
Due to having to help family during this difficult time, and assist in procuring funeral funds, I expended all my savings and am currently 2 months behind on my rent.
I plan to return to work soon but there’s reasonably no real way for me to make enough as I will be facing eviction in 2 weeks time. My starting goal is just one month's worth of rent, and I hope that I can at least figure out the second month somehow.
I’m happy to provide any photo/documentation evidence if anyone would like to see proof, but the reality is I’m just a college student down on my luck. I don’t come from wealth. The last year I funded my own way entirely through school including tuition and rent, and all it took was one unprecedented event for me to end up in my current situation.
As it stands I’ve already maxed out the one credit card I have, and have been rejected for every other one I apply for. Every loan rejects me as well due to credit history and the credit of my parents is rejected as well when I try and use them to co-sign.
Anything helps, even if it’s just a share or repost. Thank you so much.
