On August 19th, Marci Morrison was hit by an inattentive driver on HWY 55 in Nampa, Idaho. She was transferred to Boise St. Alphonsus with serious life-threatening injuries. Marci was intubated due to the trauma, and had to undergo multiple surgeries. To make matters worse, she was diagnosed with Covid 19, making the healing process that much harder. Marci is a fighter though and has managed to win her fight against covid for the time being. She has been moved from the covid ICU unit to the regular ICU unit. Marci remains intubated and in critical but stable condition.

 

During this uncertain time for the Morrison family, both her husband Jim (James) and her son Shawn tested positive for Covid 19. Jim also ended up being hospitalized for the virus. Both Shawn and Jim have recovered now and have gone back to work. However, the lost wages and surmounting medical bills have caused financial hardship for the family.
