This campaign was started by my 11yr old son Nickolas. One of nicks favorite things in the world is to build legos. This year he asked that instead of me buying him legos, would it be possible to buy legos and give them away to children that otherwise could not afford to buy them. We live in riverside ca and will be buying legos and handing them out to children at shelters. My son is an incredibly giving 11 yr old and I am proud to support him in this campaign. All funds received will be spent at our local toys r us and Walmart purchasing lego kits for boys and girls and then donating them at a shelter.
So my 11 year old son loves legos and I have been blessed by God with a successful business that allows me to have him at Bethel Christian School in Riverside, CA and also buy him what he most enjoys. He asked me if this year for Christmas we could buy some legos and give them away to kids that can't afford them, because anybody that has bought any recently knows they are expensive. So I was planning on donating $1,000 dollars worth of legos to kids at the shelters in riverside county. Then my son said, Dad wouldn't it be awesome if we could go to the store and just buy $5,000 dollars of legos and give those to kids whose parents can't. So I thought I would see if we can make my sons idea come to fruition and get the $4,000 so we can walk into Toys R US and just empty the shelves of legos to give away. So please share the post and anything you can contribute to make this happen would be awesome. Also if someone is in Riverside, CA and has a truck available for the day of the purchase and delivery of the legos and would like to volunteer to transport the boxes contact me.Thanks for reading!!!Daniel & Nick
