Shawn's Homecoming and Continued Medical Expenses

Hi, my name is Brandon Kimmons. As many of you may know, and for those of you who don't, my son Shawn was hit by a truck while walking near Division Street the day before his birthday this past December. As a result he suffered numerous cuts/bruises, a dislocated shoulder, cervical fractures and a spinal cord injury. It has now been just over 3 months since his traumatic and life changing accident and he has defied MANY odds! We are all thankful as a family that God has been on Shawn's side during this time, and has given him the strength and willpower to go along with his amazingly positive and optimistic attitude to get through this past few months....spent first in the ICU at St. Cloud Hospital, then at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, and now rehabilitation at The Courage Kenny Facility in Cottage Grove. We are beyond happy to say, in about a 3 weeks, Shawn will FINALLY be coming home!!

With that said, I am looking for donations at this time as the costs to remodel and get our home ready for Shawn's transition are just a bit more costly than we initially expected. If you are willing to help us make things comfortable and more easily wheelchair accessible for Shawn's continued journey it would be greatly appreciated!! Any amount would be helpful at this time.
