If you have ever met the Ibarra family than you know who they are and what they represent. If you have never met them, please take a second to read this. Ismael (Izzy) and Mary Ibarra (Mary formerly Camat) have been married for almost 20 years, and have loved each other deeply since they first met. Raising two incredible biological children of their own, Mary and Izzy made the decision to open their home and family up to two more beautiful children who were in need of a mother and father. Mary and Izzy made the strong decision to turn their beautiful core family of 4, into a family of six and to never look back. In August of 2014, Mary and Izzy finalized their adoption over Damien and Isaac, who were at the time 6 and 8 respectively. Mary and Izzy have given their children everything from unconditional love to the nurturing and parenting they need making them the great kids they are today. Izzy is a hard working provider and father, who's modest plumbing business supports the family. The Ibarra family are some of the best people I personally have ever met and as selfless as they were to help others, they are now in need of our support as a community. Weeks before thanksgiving 2016, Mary was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor located at her brain stem. Mary is fighter and with a smile on her beautiful face shows us all she will beat this. For now, Izzy is by her side in San Francisco as she undergoes extensive treatment and radiation just before Christmas. As a result, Izzy is unable to work and earn for his family, while other members of the family step up to help with the kids needs. Please donate what you can and show this family the giving spirit of this holiday, the way they have selflessly given to so many. They need our help as holiday expenses have been placed on hold in order to take care of basic needs such as bills and maintaining their home.
