PraXel: KY Tornado Relief Fundraiser
Donation protected
On the night of May 16, 2025, a devastating tornado outbreak swept through southern Kentucky, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. The communities of Somerset and London were among the hardest hit, with entire neighborhoods reduced to rubble and lives tragically lost. In London, at least 23 fatalities have been confirmed, while Somerset reported at least one death, with many more injured and displaced .
The tornado struck London around 11:49 p.m., tearing through Keavy Road, Kentucky 1006, Old Whitley Road, and the London Corbin Airport area, causing mass casualties and widespread damage . In Somerset, numerous homes and businesses were damaged or destroyed, prompting a mass casualty declaration . Emergency shelters have been established at locations such as the First Baptist Church in London and the South Laurel High School Gym to assist those affected .
In response to this tragedy, PraXel Line Services has launched the “Kentucky Relief Fund” to support the recovery and rebuilding efforts in these communities. As a company deeply rooted in Kentucky, we are committed to standing with our neighbors during this challenging time. All proceeds from the fund will go directly to assisting families in Somerset and London who have been impacted by the tornadoes.
We invite you to join us in this endeavor. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in the lives of those affected. Together, we can help restore hope and rebuild the communities that have been so deeply affected.
Thank you for your support!
