Help Jennifer beat Leukemia!

For our friends, family and members of the community. As most of you may know by now that on Monday July 25, 2022 Jennifer(age 38)was diagnosed with an aggressive type of cancer; Acute Myeloid Leukemia.  As an active young mother to Madison, (a daughter to Steve & Charlotte, a sister to Jessica, and aunt to Nolan And Gavin), this diagnosis has turned their world upside down within a matter of days. Although this is a devastating diagnosis, we know Jennifer is a fighter. She has many more adventures to be had and so much more life to live. Immediately following her diagnosis, Jennifer was admitted to UAB women and infants in Birmingham for what will be an extended, chemo-filled month long stay with her mother Charlotte by her side. She is being treated aggressively with chemotherapy and in the hopes of returning home and having quality time with her family and friends. The amount of love, prayers and encouragement that have already been poured out for Jennifer and her family is overwhelming. There have been so many people who have reached out wanting to help. If you know the Griggs family, you know they would give the shirt off of their back to anyone that needs it. They are also ones to never ask for help, so after seeing the outpouring of people reaching out asking how to support Jennifer, as a family friend I’ve decided to start this for her. As Jennifer and her family journey down this difficult road, I ask you to consider making a contribution.Please know, no donation is too small that would go unnoticed. Of all the hurdles this beautiful family has yet to encounter, money should not be one of them. All donations will be given directly to Jennifer and her family to help with general expenses, medical bills, treatments, procedures, travel costs to and from the hospital, or anything that might be needed through this challenging time.
