I never ask for help and have never done anything like this but this is a very difficult time for our family. We are overwhelmed with grief. We need support, which is why we decided to start this campaign.
Last Sunday our beautiful two-year-old niece Mariah was playing with a family's dog when out of nowhere he turned on her and attacked. The dog bit off a large portion of her face including her nose, cheek and lip.
We rushed her to a local hospital but she was so critical she was flown to Loma Linda University Children Hospital where she is still recovering.
We feel blessed that she survived but doctors tell us she has a long recovery.
We are heartbroken by this because we are a tight knit family but also because we are animal lovers.
We would be eternally grateful for prayers and any financial help you can contribute towards her costly medical treatments.
We are used to being on the giving end and as soon as we get our beautiful Mariah back to her playful self we will pay it forward.
