Hi, my name is Sheena Campos, and my 34-year-old cousin, Alexia Williams, suffered a massive stroke on November 30th. Lexi had been complaining of a headache and earache for a few days before her husband, Sam, found her unresponsive on the bathroom floor on November 30th. Sam performed CPR on Lexi until the ambulance arrived to take her to WARMC. She was then transferred to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. It was determined that Lexi had a ruptured aneurysm and that her brain was swelling quickly. Doctors were able to temporarily relieve the swelling by drilling a "boar hole" in her skull and were eventually able to go in and correct the ruptured aneurysm. Lexi could then open her eyes and squeeze the doctor's hand.
Unfortunately, Lexi's brain has continued to swell, and the doctors determined that she has suffered multiple strokes. Lexi is in extremely critical condition, and we are at a "touch and go" point in her care. Lexi had just celebrated her 34th birthday on November 26th and has two young girls, Raelynn, age six and Kylie age 11. I am setting up this fundraiser to relieve some pressure on her husband, Sam, who has not left her side and now has the full financial responsibility of the entire family sitting on his shoulders. I also want to ensure their girls can have Christmas presents under their tree come Christmas day despite everything going on in their young lives. If you can donate even one dollar, that would be very much appreciated. I know this time of year can be stressful for everyone, so please do not feel obligated to donate. If you want to purchase Christmas gifts for the girls, please get in touch with me! Please pray for Lexi and her family. Please pray for full healing. Pray over her daughters and husband. Pray over the doctor's hands and minds. Thank you.
