I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer at 34, and everything has moved very quickly since then.
Hi, my name is Alycia, and I’m a mom of two trying to navigate something I never expected.
After a recent biopsy, I learned that I have a tumor that is considered large, and the cancer has already spread to at least one lymph node under my arm. I have several more scans scheduled in the coming days to see if it has spread any further.
Everything is happening very quickly. I’ll be meeting with a surgeon soon to create a treatment plan, and I know surgery is ahead. I just don’t have all the details yet. There are still many unknowns, including whether I will need chemotherapy or additional treatments.
While I’m staying hopeful and determined to fight this, the reality is that it’s a lot to process, both emotionally and physically. I will need to take time off work for surgery and recovery, and possibly longer depending on treatment.
With time away from work and the uncertainty of medical expenses not fully covered by insurance, this diagnosis is creating a significant financial strain. The support raised will go toward medical bills, household expenses, and helping provide stability for my children while I focus on getting through treatment.
I truly believe I’m going to get through this, but I know I can’t do it alone.
If you’re able to donate, share, or support in any way, it would mean so much to me and my family. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for being part of our support system during this difficult time.
Update 4/6/26
The breast cancer is stage 3. I’ve had some scans and so far the cancer hasn’t spread. Waiting on a few more results. Hopefully I can start treatment next week. Thank you to everybody that has donated and/or shared already!
