34 Miles Bike Ride For IDP in Myanmar
Do you want to join me in making a difference? On behalf of Myanmar Community in UK, I'm organising a fund-raising bike ride event and the money will go to the Brighter Future Foundation which is helping Healthcare and Social Welfare for IDP in Myanmar. Thank you in advance for contributing to this cause, which means so much to me.
As I explained in the last fund-raising charity run, since the military coup on 1/02/21 and the brutal crackdown of the Civil Disobedient Movement, more than a million civilians have now been Internally Displaced in border areas as refugees due to indiscriminate air strikes on civilians, use of heavy artillery and torching of villages. There is an urgent need for healthcare, medical supplies, food and shelter for IDP in Myanmar.
Please join us 34 miles (54.72 km) Bike Ride for IDP, a cycling challenge, on 7th August 2022. All donations will be used for building a hospital in Karen State and IDP.
Our meeting point is at West Ham United Store, West Ham United Stadium Store https://goo.gl/maps/rZFcZyjGRcpdKwPr6 between 8am and 9am. Then, we are going to cycle to the Lee Valley park then head to the Parliament Square and final point is at the Green park about 3PM. Please kindly click a Koomot link for the details of the route. https://www.komoot.com/tour/840626625?ref=itd
Please kindly register, and make a contribution of £34. You can also invite your sponsor to donate your bike ride.
Brighter Future Foundation is registered in UK and has more than 10 years experience of helping healthcare and medical education in Myanmar. BFF works with local partners in delivering the most urgent needs to IDP affected by the inhumane civil war. Please visit brighterfutureuk.org for more information.
