Carrie Moody has been the backbone for many dogs Marina and I have been able to rescue. She has done everything from calling rescues non-stop to catching abandoned puppies in a field. This week she has spent her last penny on saving all the dogs in two shelters by transporting them all over town. It has been a rushed week, stressful trying to get them all to safety before their deadline but it happened. And this wasn't the only time. Just when every dog was safe, Carrie finally had time to rest but an unfortunate incident happened where she was injured and will most likely need surgery. Sadly, Carrie has literally spent her last penny this week and now she has a very important appointment with the doctor to see if he can reconstruct her hand. Due to the multiple surgeries her mother had this previous year, Carrie was forced to quit her job to care for her mother. She has been taking up day jobs when her mother didn't have doctor appointments to make ends meet, but had no safety net for emergencies. She now is unable to care for herself, her mother and her dogs. Please help her keep on her feet during this difficult time.
