In June of 2019, Kelly Lallier was diagnosed with breast cancer at the young age of 33. Earlier that month, Kelly was living her normal life. Within a couple weeks, she began to notice irregular health challenges, like pulled muscles with little strenuous activity, light headedness, and then finally fractured her spine which lead her to visit her doctor. Almost immediately her doctor felt a lump in her breast and ordered a mammogram. After a full body scan, Kelly was given the devastating news that she has large cancerous tumors in her breasts and along her spine.
Kelly’s specific type of breast cancer is triple positive, stage IV breast cancer. It is a more aggressive form of breast cancer, and in Kelly’s case, the tumor grade is high, which means it’s also growing aggressively. Her current treatment plan includes 10 days of high intensity radiation, months of chemotherapy, and a cancer fighting diet. During her chemotherapy treatment, Kelly will not be able to work and therefore will not have an income, leaving her husband Leonard with the task of maintaining his income all while supporting her with her treatment.
The funding from your contributions will go directly towards assisting Kelly with medical expenses, medical co-pays, prescription costs, basic living expenses, groceries, and any other needs directly related to her care. Our hope is to help her with the financial burden that comes with the journey of fighting cancer.
Kelly will need all the love and support we can give to carry her through this tough time. She has touched so many with her kind spirit and bright smile: her husband, parents, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, grandparents, and friends. It's now our turn to show her how loved she is and give her the added strength she needs to beat breast cancer.
