We at iERA [Islamic Education & Research Academy] express our utmost and heartfelt thanks for your donations which has helped us distribute over 1 million Dawah materials (booklets, pamphlets, books) to date that has reached over 100 countries spanning over 6 continents. From these efforts, over 5504 people embraced Islam in 2019 globally. Now we need YOU to help us continue the blessed efforts in Canada. Today, more than ever, iERA depends on YOUR generosity to embody the prophetic mission of sharing Islam with the world.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ also said:
“He who calls others to follow the right guidance will have a reward EQUAL to the reward of those who follow him, without their reward being diminished in any respect on that account." | Muslim 13:7
iERA Canada is at the forefront of not only empowering everyday Muslims, but we have also trained over 500 Da'ees and Muslim Leaders in Canada. Last year, 35 Canadians took their shahadahs with us.

Who Are We?
iERA (Islamic Education & Research Academy) is a grassroots organization that is driven by the prophetic mission - delivering the powerful, life -changing message of Islam. Our vision is to emulate the beautiful teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), by supporting and collaborating with local communities – both Muslims and non-Muslims – and engaging with those around them by empowering muslims to share the message of Islam with tolerance, kindness, and compassion. We believe that sharing islam is one of, if not the most, rewardable acts of worship. If one person became Muslim because of your support you would get the reward of all their acts of worship, as the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) says "Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a similar reward (narrated by muslim)".
iERA Canada
iERA Canada is a branch of iERA international organisation who's ultimate goal is for the message of Islam to reach every household, something which the Prophet (saw) foretold. With an increased interest of Islam in North America, iERA’s dawah efforts are needed more than ever. We need your help, to enlighten our neighbours and the larger community about what Islam really is and who Muslims are. At iERA Canada our mission is to convey the Prophetic Mission: of compassionately and intelligently sharing Islam.
iERA supports, empower and develop Muslims to become Outreach Specialists through cutting edge training programs, in-person and online workshops that incorporate best practices from the dawah field and include real-world scenarios.
A breakdown of the Outreach Specialist role includes the following:
Globally iERA is at the forefront of engaging people from cities as varied as Tokyo, Sydney, Manila and Rio de Janeiro to lesser known cities and far-flung villages in the Philippines, India and Malawi. iERA has branched out to cities in Canada and now we are making strides to re-root and reconnect humanity with Allah through a growing number of platforms and channels. Recently iERA was welcomed by the San tribe, the original hunter gatherers of Botswana, to convey the message of Islam. They immediately connected to the message and many of them were eager to take their shahada. Less than an hour later they were ready to join us in duhur salah. Help us make stories like this happen here in Canada.
Help Us Empower Muslims, Support New Muslims & Educate Yet-to-be-Muslims
iERA Canada is at the forefront of not only empowering everyday Muslims to share Islam confidently, compassionately and intelligently through cutting edge Dawah training courses but is also relentless in creating a supportive infrastructure for new Muslims after their Shahadah.We not only share the message of Islam, we actively support the new Muslims in their Islam, by teaching them how to connect with their Creator and use this life as a means of growing in their faith and achieving the ultimate success. We do this by providing them with New Muslim Support, as a part of our 3-tier approach; giving dawah, empowering the Muslims on how to articulate Islam and supporting the new -muslims. Our services include new Muslims classes, buddy programs and Islamic material on prayer, wudu and the basics of worship in Islam.
Help us Connect with Youth in Colleges & Universities
Alhamdulillah, iERA Canada has been blessed to regularly connect with students through workshops, seminars and conferences on college and universities, including some of the most renowned in Europe and North America. In 2019, iERA Canada concluded a 2-month long successful tour of Canadian colleges and universities that was met with a lot of enthusiasm and support.
We hope to expand into existing community efforts by enhancing their effectiveness, while exploring new and innovative methods to reach different audiences and break down barriers. We have full-time subject matter experts who deliver lectures, seminars and training courses on a vast range of Islamic, philosophical and social subjects.
Help us Distribute Books & Pamphlets
We have a dedicated team of volunteers reaching out to university students, facilitating street dawah, new-muslim training sessions, leading mosque tours, feeding the homeless, answering questions (mostly about Allah, creation, and the problem of evil, etc.), helping those interested in Islam, and providing support to new Muslims. In addition, we publish engaging books, booklets and pamphlets on thought-provoking subjects bearing catchy titles with the hope that the reader will pick up, read, pause, reflect,ponder and take steps closer to Allah.
How can you help?
You can receive a share of the rewards for these shahadas in Canada by giving whatever you can. Supporting our work is speaking to thousands of people in Canada about the message of Islam. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
“He who calls others to follow the right guidance will have a reward equal to the reward of those who follow him, without their reward being diminished in any respect on that account." [Muslim]

"None of you will have faith until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself." | Sahih Bukhari 13
In the commentary of the above hadith, the term “brother” is not limited to Muslims alone, rather also includes ALL OF HUMANITY. Therefore, for the person to receive true faith they have to love their brother in humanity, Muslim or non-Muslim, what they love for themselves. To love Islam for non-Muslims as we love Islam for ourselves is an embodiment of this hadith.
The Messenger of Allah PBUH also said:
“He who calls others to follow the right guidance will have a reward EQUAL to the reward of those who follow him, without their reward being diminished in any respect on that account." | Muslim 13:7
Be the means for someone to engage with and learn about Islam this Ramadan! If they accept it, and embrace this beautiful faith, every action they do, you get a share in the reward. Moreover, if their family embraces Islam and their next generations are raised Muslims, you will have a share in reward for every good they do. This is truly an everlasting legacy to leave behind.
The Messenger of Allah PBUH said:
“When the human being dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: sadaqa jariyah (ongoing charity), beneficial knowledge, or a virtuous child who prays for him.” | Muslim 13:8
