Support Lily's Fight Against Leukemia

Hi everyone, Lily is a 14-year-old girl with the biggest heart ever. Like all teenagers, she loves going to the beach, shopping, and spending time with her friends and family. Her most favorite thing is dance. She’s been doing it since she was three years old and goes to competitions every year!

Sadly, she was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. Since her diagnosis two months ago, her life has changed dramatically. She’s a thrill seeker who loves adventures. Her normally energetic and busy life has slowed down. She’s had to stop attending school and do her freshman year virtually. She’s hoping to attend regular school by the end of this year or next. She has a long road ahead of her with ongoing treatments for two years. It’s been very hard for her family to see how drastically her life has changed, spending most of her time in the hospital or at home resting after treatments.

It’s also been a struggle for her mom, Atefeh, who is a single mother. Atefeh is doing her best to keep things as normal as she can for Lily and her brother. Atefeh frequently has to travel from Tampa to New Port Richey often to be with Lily at the hospital as well as getting her little brother to school and home. This has caused financial struggles for Atefeh from her having to miss work to be with Lily during her treatments.

They’re doing their best to keep things as normal as possible for her and her brother. Through it all, Lily has been in good spirits. She and her family have been so grateful for all the thoughts and prayers from family and friends. Her family has faith and knows Lily will get through this and, God willing, be cancer-free for the rest of her life.
