Help a Family fundraiser for Robert D Coffelt Jr

At the end of April, Bob was in a non-work related accident that resulted in a fracture of his sacrum bone; Due to this, he was put out of work to heal. As a truck driver, there was no way to sit for many hours at a time without the proper set-up for him to be comfortable. Shortly into his rest time, he got results from a preventative procedure he had just prior to his injury. ( colonoscopy )The results showed that he had cancer in his colon. Being a cancer survivor from Lymphoma (can we say we are so grateful to 10 years of remission?!)this was very stressful to him and Sheri, his new wife of less than a year. Shortly after the diagnosis, he underwent surgery to have a colon resection done. Surgery went well, recovery was extended for 11 days in the hospital. While in recovery, in the hospital, he developed a serious infection which extended his hospital stay. Finally he was able to go home! Three days later his wife rushed him to the ER where it was discovered a new abscess. Another infection was discovered which required another procedure to drain this new infection that started. Since then, he has been trying to recover at home and will have a drain tube removed this next week. He says he's feeling better. The margins from the resection came back clear from cancer so far While we remain grateful, and celebrate his health more than anything, this has left him and his new wife of less than a year in a hard position as they are now surviving on one income while he heals. Not only his sacrum bone, but now his abdomen. We’re hoping to have family and community surround them, and help them get through this difficult time to insure their bills are covered, and their life can be a little less stressful than the past few months they have endured. We understand your own bills and family are a priority, but if you’ve got extra $ to spare to help them, we would appreciate it greatly at this time! Due to the accident he is unsure when he’ll return to work. Sending Good vibes, prayers, and love are also welcomed , as they can definitely use them right now. Thank you all so much, Bobs family & Friends
