Nathan’s cancer battle
Donation protected
Nathan is a young, vibrant, hardworking, fishing addict, and extreme mountain biker! In September he went camping in Montana to ride some crazy downhill courses. On one of his runs he had a pretty bad crash. But being the type of man that he is just shook it off and went about the trip. When he got home he went to the Chiropractor, as one does after a bike crash. His chiropractor warned him he could have a concussion and recommend he go to the doctor. Reluctantly the next day he went into the ER. His head checked out fine, doctors were concerned with a bruise on his chest and asked to do a CT scan to make sure he hadn’t done any damage during the crash. The CT scan showed Nathan had a large mass above his heart, he was immediately flown off for further testing. Since then he has been diagnosed with an extremely aggressive form of lymphoma. Primary mediastinal large diffuse B cell Lymphoma. Nathan is currently in the hospital receiving his first chemotherapy treatment. His treatments last 5 days where he is admitted into the hospital and given continuous chemo for 4 of the days. He will go through 6 rounds of chemo. His doctor has estimated he will be unable to work for up to one year. As anyone that has gone through this, or knows someone that has, it is very costly. Doctor bills, travel expenses, and the basic cost of living. His Dad and I are doing our best to help, as well as his fiancé that works full time and is coaching the high school cheerleaders. But we can’t do it alone. I would like to thank you in advance for your donation, all funds received will go directly to making sure Nathan gets through this.
