Hello, my name is Dave Koski, and I'm reaching out to raise funds to help cover my son Dean’s expenses as he undergoes his cancer treatment.

A couple of months ago (November 2024), we received the terrible news that Dean’s persistent back pain turned out to be cancer. He is currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy in Thunder Bay - a tough journey both physically and emotionally.

Dean looks forward to rejoining his colleagues in Red Rock once he recovers. Unfortunately, due to the nature of his job, he will not be able to work for at least another 6-8 months.

This experience has opened our eyes to the overwhelming costs associated with cancer treatments, medications, and the expenses that arise during recovery.

Dean is a bright light, known for his warmth and how he brings joy to those around him. You'll know what I mean if you’ve heard him cover ACDC. He is a loyal friend and colleague, always willing to lend a helping hand.
