Corbin's Trans Surgery Fund
Donation protected
Hello! For those of you who don't know me, I'm Corbin. I'm a non-binary trans masculine person of European descent. I want to acknowledge I live on unceded lands which are the traditional territory of Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish Tribe (Dkhw Duw’Absh). Please visit realrentduwamish.org to learn more.
I've been out & proud as a non-binary person for nearly five years, and I have been on HRT (testosterone) since August 2019. In the last year I have discovered what it means to feel like I belong in my body. Having experienced what it means to feel at home, I’ve pinpointed a few remaining steps on the path to realizing the truest version of myself.
I am raising money to help pay for top surgery & tubal ligation. I hope to get both of these within the next 6-8 months. Tubal ligation is a relatively easy process that will require me to take a day or two off of work. For top surgery, I will need to take approximately 2-3 weeks off work. I have saved a decent amount on my own and I am privileged to have insurance that will help cover some of the cost of these surgeries - funds raised here will go towards medical costs as well as living expenses during my healing period.
In the interest of paying your contribution forward, any money in excess of my need will be donated directly to BIPOC trans and queer folk needing similar care.
