Help Chelsea Get Back On Her Feet

Hello everyone,

Paige, Bronte and Elle here. We have put together this fundraiser on behalf our beautiful and brave best friend Chelsea Sharp. On 30/01/22 Chelsea was involved in a boating accident at Somerset Dam which has resulted in a serious back injury that will require a very long recovery and medical treatment. Chelsea’s injuries include a broken spine, a fractured hip, nerve/muscle damage, as well as damage to her kidneys and liver.

Despite going through such a horrible accident, our girl is remaining very positive as always and is hopeful for a full recovery in the near future! 

Chelsea’s road to recovery involves extensive physio therapy while she learns how to walk again (she is in a walker currently and needs assistance to move around) and she will need full-time care for the next 3 months so far.

As a recent University graduate in Nutrition and Dietetics in December 2021, Chels has had aspirations to begin her career after 4 years of hard work. Unfortunately without income protection or private health cover we have set up this fundraiser to aide with the ongoing costs for her medical bills, medication, physio therapy, specialist appointments, rent, loss of income, and living expenses.

Chelsea is the most beautiful, incredible person we know and we are so devastated to see her go through this. It has been a very challenging few days but we know she is so strong and will get through this very difficult time.
