07/10/2021 (updated page) :

Hi everyone, I’m so sadden to say that my father Joseph Anthony King passed away on July 9th, 2021. Thank you to everyone for donating already and following with my dads journey. He fought so hard and was so strong. The money that we already raised in donations was used for what the original title use to say (help Joe stay in his home!). We payed the rent off that we owed for 3 months. I changed the goal because since now that my father has lost this battle to cancer, I want to give him a memorial service that he deserves. The rest of the money we raise will go towards those expenses. He has struggled just about his whole life and I want to give him a nice, beautiful way to remember him. My daddy left behind a wonderful dog, his best friend Max. They had an unbreakable bond that was so beautiful, I made a promise to my dad to give Max the best life. He leaves behind a cat named kush, a cat who he loved dearly, a cat who got him out of his depression, who will also be taken care of the best way possible. He leaves behind his only child, his daughter Sarina King who was his biggest fan. When Joe had his heart attack in January, she quit her job to stay home and take care of him. She took care of him for 7 months non stop, they had ups and downs but he knew she wouldn’t trade it for the world. He leaves behind a brother Jimmy King and sister Cheryl Lynn who has been his backbone his whole life. He leaves behind so many friends, and family that love him so much and are going to miss him down here. Joe has been the glue to a lot of people in their lives, he brought people together. There was never a time where you weren’t laughing when you were with him, he always had a smile on his face.. and a goofy grin. He was all about family and his heritage. He loved learning new things about his heritage, meeting new family, spending time with family. Meeting up with friends, going to parties(he was the light of the party). He was a father, a brother, cousin, and a best friend. The strongest man alive he fought as hard as he could, but suffering in pain isn’t a way to live. We will never forget you. RIP DADDY❤️ RIPJOEKING #GONEBUTNEVERFORGOTTEN

(06/14/2021): Hi my name is Sarina, I’m Joe’s daughter. My dad has been in & out of the hospital since January, from a heart attack, to a stroke, to pneumonia & possibly cancer. He’s still in the hospital, getting biopsy’s, bronchoscopy’s, CT scans & just trying to recover from everything. Now because of the landlord, he might not have a house to come home to when he gets discharged. Due to personal issues, the landlord got me (his daughter) put out so I’m not there to take care of him everyday. Judge W. Hennessy, ordered I can’t stay there, didn’t care that I’m his only caregiver and the only person to bring him to appointments. When my dad does come home, he’ll be all by him self. Between rent, and medical bills and medications, we can’t pay all of them. Anything you could spare would be really appreciated. Thank you and God bless.❤️
