Quinten Rose has been a Texas State Trooper for going on 8 years. He has a wife of 4 years, Abby and 4 beautiful children. For the Rose family things were on the up, a family of 6 just settling in to their new home here in North Texas. Quinten and Abby Rose are a family just like us all. Full of love and possibilities. 

Things changed for them on November, 29, 2021 when on one of Rose’s few days off, he was doing one of the many things he loves to do, riding his motorcycle on a beautiful day. Rose was traveling with a friend when he came across debris in the roadway and tried to clear himself from it. Unfortunately he lost control of his motorcycle and was thrown from the bike across several lanes of traffic, over a median and into a truck.

 It is suspected that Rose landed in a sitting position and in consequence fractured his pelvis in more than one place. Rose suffered severe trauma to his pelvis, massive internal bleeding and a torn ACL. The damage is more than just bone, Rose is also dealing with internal trauma that’s required 5 surgeries so far to try and pin his pelvis back together and stabilize it. 

His latest surgery was 12/10 surgeons went in to do a repair when they discovered more damage and internal bleeding he ended up losing several liters of blood. Doctors have decided to wait on repairing any intestinal injuries until he can heal more. He is a scheduled for more scans to see if they are missing any new bleeding and another surgery as of 12/11 to close him back up. 

Please keep this family close to your heart this Christmas as Trooper Rose has an extremely long road ahead. He will need physical therapy and possibly more surgeries down the road. Abby is doing her best juggling kids, work and supporting Quinten in every possible way. She will need to take time away from her job and financially this is going to be costly as Quinten cannot return to duty anytime soon.
