Support Steve's Heart Surgery Recovery

Hi, my name is Cheryl Lehman. My husband Steve had major open heart surgery on Friday, April 25th. He will be out of work for at least 3 months. My pride is aching to have to put this GoFundMe out there. I am just starting to feel the effects from him having surgery. The cost of gas is horrible, the foods we buy aren't cheap, and I'm starting to get worried, and it's just been 2 days. I'm not sure when his first check will arrive; sadly, it's so much less than when he is working. Me, Natalie, and Brennen have been sitting by his side all day long. As of today, he was moved up to a better ICU floor. We were by his side all day long, him knowing we were there. He would open his eyes long enough to make sure we were still by his side, smile, then drift back to sleep. Right now, his heart is struggling a lot to get used to having a healthy heart that was used to working so hard. His blood pressure keeps fluctuating a lot; they are keeping a very close eye on that. All I know is we're sitting by his side all day, coming home at night, then returning the next morning. We're wearing thin, but there is no place we would rather be than by his side and being there for him. We're not sure when he will go to a normal room or when we can bring him home. He has a long road to recovery. Even if you can't donate, which we completely understand 'cause times are hard, would you please say prayers for him to make a healthy, happy, and full recovery?
