Angie's Fight Against Breast Cancer

Donation protected
Angie found a lump while doing a self-breast exam in the shower on 3/25/17.  She called the doctor and he told her she needed a mammogram and an ultrasound of the breast immediately.  She went and had those test done and then had a biopsy done 3/31/17.  The radiologist told her that the images didn't look good and tried to prepare her for the news.

On Monday, 4/3/17 her life was turned upside down when it was confirmed that she had stage 2 breast cancer.  We received good news that the cancer had stayed in her breast and had not moved to any lymph nodes, organs, or bones.  On Monday 4/17/17 she was told she will need a double mastectomy.

Angie just started a job about 4 months ago and has just started receiving health benefits (Thank goodness) BUT because she hasn't been at her job long she can't file for FMLA and will have to take a lot of time off without pay.  Her husband's job shut its plant doors after he worked there for 23 years and was let go in December and is currently looking for a job.  So she is the only source of income.

Angie and her husband Ted have 2 beautiful daughters that are 16 and a 10.

Any help would be greatly appreciated so we can help Angie #fightlikeagirl.
