Hi my names Charlotte I’m doing this for Lewis ❤️

Lewis, a loving 24 year old son, brother and friend from Derbyshire who’s living with AML leukaemia for the second time in the last year.

Lewis has battled this aggressive cancer along with catching sepsis and TB from January 2022 to June 7th when he finally got to ring the bell and love the normal life of a 24 year old. Lewis was straight back to work the second he had the go ahead, he had regular contact with all his friends and his girlfriend. He loved going back to Motorcross and sitting in the pub with his mates. Unfortunately not long after returning to his home and his old life, Lewis was recently diagnosed January 3rd 2023 with the same form of cancer for a second time and under going chemotherapy as we speak, with the hopes that it works or he will have to undergo stem cell transplant .

To return to his old life and it be taken away within a matter of months I feel as his best friend it is my duty to do something to help, sitting back and watching him, his family and his friends go through this pain is never something I could do. Lewis stresses his worry and concerns on me, the main one being the financial stress this illness is bringing to himself and his family which is why this page has been created.

Lewis swiftly returned to work when he had the all clear in June however because of the cancer returning he is no longer able to work again unfortunately the bills don’t stop for someone that had an illness this dangerous. Lewis has expressed his concerns for everyday bills that still need paying whilst he is lying in a hospital bed, his worries for his family if the worst was to happen, the fact he would do anything to go on holiday after all this.

therefore I’m asking all his friends, everyone on his social media, the people that see his posts, the people that have been through similar experiences, his MX family, his work colleagues and anyone that can to just spare abit of money to help Lewis out, if we can all take one stress away from him to help him fully concentrate on getting better then I’ve done my job right as his best friend.

This is going to be yet again another long, painful journey for Lewis, yet one of the recent concerns is the financial strain this is having on himself and his family. Money should not be a worry for someone who is fighting for their life. I’ve put 1,000 as a target but I would like to aim for more if possible ! I don’t want him to worry about money while he’s going through this! I’d even like to try raise money in other ways and I’m currently working on this!
