Hello all! Firstly, I would like to take the time to thank you for taking a moment to get to know me and why I am here. I am a 24 y/o aspiring Yoga Teacher, Entrepreneur and Psychologist. I hold a BS in Marketing, Strategy Development and Consumer Behavior (first love), and I will be pursuing my MS in Psychology at the end of 2017. I am extremely ambitious and have set goals that I know I will reach without a doubt, I just need a little help getting there. The reason for this GoFundMe is to find assistance from my family and friends to help me make some of my dreams come true. I am not looking for anyone to fully support me, as I work very hard to support these goals myself, however it is still rather difficult.
I set three major goals for 2015-2017:
1. Complete Bachelor's Degree(s). ✔️
2. Get accepted into a Graduate program.✔️
3. Become a certified Yoga Instructor. (In progress)
For a year or so now I have been saving everything I can to reach my goal of attaining my 200hr Vinyasa Yoga Certification in 2017. I plan to use my certification and degrees to become an advocate for women who are victims of sexual assault, domestic violence and abuse. Utilizing my personal and professional practice to help them overcome their circumstances. While I am working as hard as I can to save money myself, I would like to ensure I have all that I need by my deadline of February 17, 2017. I am looking to raise $900 by January 31st to be able to pay for my certification IN FULL at the discounted rate. The total cost of the program is well over $3,000 and that's the discount! As I stated before, I am not looking for full support. I will be continuing to save myself, this would just take a little of the pressure off being that I had quite a few surprises this year. Literally ANYTHING will help, even if it's just $1! I appreciate your support more than anything and I'm extremely grateful that you even took the time to see what I am about.
