In Loving Memory OF Ruth Ary Espada

Ruth "Ary" Espada could have done anything she wanted to but she chose nursing because she believed her calling was to help others. Nursing became a lifelong devotion. Ary's more than 30 years as a nurse, prepared her for when she was diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago. Throughout her battle against cancer, she chose hope not fear. She was courageous, but also very realistic in treating her cancer.

In the week leading up to her passing, she asked her family to grant her one wish. She asked for her resting place to be next to her father in Puerto Rico.

Ruth "Ary" Espada podría haber hecho todo lo que quisiera, pero ella eligío la enfermería porque pensaba que su llamado era ayudar a los demás. Los más de 30 años como enfermera, ayudaron a Ary a prepararse para cuando fué diagnosticada con cáncer de mama hace dos años. A lo largo de la batalla contra el cáncer, Ella eligió la esperanza, no temer. Ella era valiente, pero también realista en el tratamiento de su cáncer.

En la semana previa a su muerte le pidió a su familia por un deseo. Ella pidío ser enterrada junto a su padre en Puerto Rico. Su apoyo permitiría a su familia conceder su deseo.
