Our family is facing an incredibly challenging time and we are asking for your help. A few days ago, my aunt and young cousin were involved in a terrible car accident. My aunt was airlifted to Christiana Hospital with multiple serious injuries, including several broken ribs, a broken pelvis/hip, and broken facial bones. She is currently undergoing extensive medical treatment and will face a long road to recovery.

Thankfully, my little cousin’s injuries were less severe, but he is still experiencing soreness in his neck and back, along with chest bruising from the crash.

As if this wasn’t enough for our family to handle, my uncle—who was not in the accident—just had open-heart surgery two weeks ago. With both my aunt and uncle in recovery and unable to work, they are struggling to cover everyday expenses, medical bills, and household needs.
