Epilepsy awareness
Anayah has decided she wants to do a fund raiser for The Daisy Garland for children with epilepsy needing life saving bed monitors.
Anayah has decided to have her hair cut short in hope she will get some sponsors. If anyone would like to sponsor anayah it would be much appreciated. The daisy garland charity funded us with a bed monitor for edie so this charity is close to our hearts as it’s kept edie alive by setting her alarm off when she’s had a seizure during the night and given us the chance to get into her and administer emergency meds and call the paramedics. Anayah has witnessed edies seizures and this has had a big impact on her too.
Any donations would be very much appreciated. Many thanks from all of us.
More information about The Daisy Garland: A family-run, national, registered children's charity working exclusively for children with drug-resistant epilepsy. Set up in 2004 in memory of our wonderful daughter Daisy who died in her sleep from SUDEP (sudden unexpected death in epilepsy patients) when she was just 6 years old. Our aims are to raise awareness of childhood epilepsy and SUDEP, to fund specially trained dietitians to work within NHS hospitals and to provide positive support for parents/carers of children with drug-resistant epilepsy.
