Saving up for enrolling to my dream university

Hi, I'm Zsófi and I have a great friend, Wasie, who is saving up for enrolling to his dream university.

I know Wasie since 2012 and I followed his story since then. He's a passionate and curious person from Pakistan, who graduated in Environmental Sciences.

He has been accepted into university in UK in his dream program to learn more about environment and climate change as his country is the 6th most vulnerable to climate change i.e. unprecedented' floods, tropical cyclones, droughts, decline in biodiversity and degraded ecosystem.

Unfortunately, as he's a non-EU citizen, he has to pay the tuition fee, which is 8000 GBP (69800 DKK) per academic year.

Recently, his family is to cope with serious illnesses, as Wasie's mum has a rare type of Lymphoma which is a type of blood-cancer. Cancer treatment is expensive and all the family's savings were spent to medical treatments. As Wasie’s family’s income is largely from agriculture, climate change also taken a toll on their livelihood, as agricultural production has declined for more than 40%.

We are turning to GoFundMe to try to save up at least half of the tuition fee. We would appreciate every little donation to make my friend's dream come true and continue his journey to tackle climate change problems.
