Like many people today, our family has been struggling with bills. Every time we try to save, something else pulls. I’ve been a stay at home mom for the past two years and my fiance has been trying his best to keep up with payments as he works full time but it’s just been too difficult. With rising costs for every day necessities and an added monthly car payment after we had to replace our van when it finally gave out on us, we have been having trouble making our mortgage payments. We are very close to losing our home to foreclosure if we cannot come up with the past due. I’ve tried to apply for assistance through the mortgage company but it was declined due to a miscommunication about a document. I am trying to reapply but we are technically now in the early stages of foreclosure. We have four children in this home along with our cats and dog. We have no where to go that can accommodate all of us if we lose the house. So, I’ve decided that it’s time to put aside my pride and ask for help. I know it’s a big ask but any help at all will truly be appreciated. We just need to get caught up and out of foreclosure while I look to get back to work. One income just isn’t enough anymore in our economy.
