The Williamston Wrestling boosters is building wall to enclose our wrestling room.
In 2007, the school constructed a new gymnasium, fitness center and pool to the existing school. A new access point was built on the second floor, adjacent to the wrestling room, that had not previously been there. This entrance created a thoroughfare of foot traffic directly into the wrestling area and renders all kinds of potential hazards to both wrestlers and our mats. In addition to all types of bacteria/germs that the footwear leaves on the mats which could result in various skin infections, this open area has become a playground for those who use it to hangout and quite frankly, a safety issue! The expensive mats have also been subject to wear
Because of these developments, the Williamston Wrestling Boosters are starting a fundraising campaign to wrestling area into its own room.
As we strive to reach the “Gold Standard” and continue to build on the rich tradition of the wrestling program, we will be selling sponsorships at the following levels:
Champions Brick $1,000 | All State Brick $500
Pin level $250 | Near-fall level $100 | Reversal level $50 | Takedown level $25
One Section of the wall will acknowledge those supporters who helped sponsor this fundraising effort by placing their name on a "brick" or plaque. These will remain in the wrestling room for ever.
Any donation is greatly appreciated and we will put you in the above levels based on amount given.
