On December 3, Luis Matus became ill and went to the hospital. A CT scan showed that he had excessive spinal fluid in his skull and had a blood clot in his brain. He underwent surgery to drain the excess fluid, but the clot is inoperable due to the location in the brain. The best case scenario is that he is expected to have slight paralysis on his left side, but he remains in critical condition at this moment. The doctors said that the next few days we will get more information on his condition. He already suffers with rheumatoid arthritis and walks with two canes. With paralysis on his left side, I am unsure if he will be able to walk again. With all that being said, he is going to need help with the medical costs and possibly a wheel chair.
