Hi all,

As you probably know, I'm Anya, the youngest of the 7 Liebman kids. Our mom, Kathy, was recently diagnosed with malignant soft tissue sarcomas. While we are waiting for biopsy results, these sarcomas are growing and spreading at an alarming rate, and she will be starting Chemotherapy next week.

My mom has always been the first to stop and help a stranger, no matter the circumstance. She always opened her home and left space at our table for anyone who needed it (Human or animal, lol). She has shared her big heart with everyone around her and passed it down to each of her children.

If you know my mom, I'm sure you have fond and funny memories of/with her. She has given her whole life to our dad, her siblings, her children, grandchildren, and the plethora of animals we brought home to her.

These situations genuinely take a village, and the last thing we want for our parents is to be financially stressed when their focus should be solely on fighting this cancer.

So, we are reaching out to our large community, if you know our mom or not, and especially if she has impacted your life, to raise some funds to make sure she can be as comfortable as possible for this long journey we're facing.

Thankfully, her insurance will be covering the bulk of her chemotherapy, doctor visits, and surgeries that will be down the line.

These funds will be used for all additional expenses, including but not limited to pain management, transportation, unexpected changes, and we would also like to give our mom an opportunity to have some experiences that she has always wanted.

Every penny makes a difference, and if our village can chip in or share to others, we would greatly appreciate it. I will be updating here and on my Facebook for any major updates on her fight.
