Losing a family member is hard enough. But having to bury someone who did not have life insurance, like my father, can make the time for grieving especially stressful.
My family wasn't in great financial shape when my Dad was alive, and now that he's gone, I'm fearful of a lot of things, like my Mom and brothers losing their house and them not having food to put on their plates.
I'm asking for donations to help my family cover Dad's funeral expenses. Any donation is helpful and if you don't have enough money to donate, please share this link with your family and friends.
I've set a goal for $5,000, but I've never had to plan a funeral before, so I really have no idea how much this is going to cost. If by some fortunate stroke of luck the donations exceed the funeral expenses, I plan on using the extra money to help keep my family afloat until they can get back on their feet again.
I want to say thank you for all the thoughts and prayers and want to express that any and all donations will bring my family that much closer to being able to simply grieve instead of worry about expenses.
Thank you all so much!
