Spanish Immersion Program

Hello family and friends! So when I was in 6th grade, I struggled with math. I had an amazing math teacher who finally made everything click. Ever since then, my dream was to be able to help make math click for as many students as I could. Now, I'm finally doing what I love!

I teach in a community where over 50% of our students speak Spanish or are bilingual and a lot of their parents only speak Spanish. I have always wanted to learn Spanish but now, I've learned how vital this skill is as an educator.

I created this GoFundMe because I am planning an educational trip to South America for an immersion program this summer. I will be staying with a host family, doing community outreach, and taking Spanish classes.
