On August 21, 2015 the world lost an amazing father, husband, and friend. Ken passionately loved his family, always working diligently to help provide the best life possible for those he loved. He will be rembered for his (somewhat nerdy) sense of humor, compelling smile, and capacity for great love and understanding. He leaves behind his wife, Kathryn, and his five children: April, Jon, Mary, Sam, and Jessica. 

Because of the unfortunate nature of his death, the life insurance policies Ken retained will not benefit the family. Kathryn will receive survivors benefits, but that will take time and is far from enough to keep the family above water.

Ken was the sole provider for the family, working as a chef, while Kathryn stayed home to raise their three children. Please consider making a donation to support the Williams family during this incredibly difficult time, so they can focus on healing instead of mounting financial pressures.



Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Dean Williams will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 24, 2015 in the Oakdale Church of Christ with Bro. Danny Broussard officiating.
Kenneth, 44, of Deridder entered eternal rest on Friday, August 21, 2015.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include wife, Kathryn Williams of DeRidder; two sons, Jonathan Dean Williams and Samuel Williams, both of DeRidder; three daughters, April Williams of Lake Charles, Mary Williams of DeRidder and Jessica Major of Montgomery, NY; his parents, Kenneth L. and Shirley Williams of Oakdale; one brother, Kevin Williams and his wife, Tammy of Wolfforth, TX; one sister, Kimberly Deville and her husband, Robert of Bayou Chicot; two nephews, Louis Deville and Zachariah Williams; two nieces, Kylie Williams and Lelia Deville.
